Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about our delivery services:

How Are Delivery Fees Calculated?

Delivery fees with our third-party courier are based on the greater of two factors: the size (volumetric weight) or the actual weight of your order, as well as the destination postal code.

Estimated Delivery Fee: You can view the delivery fee for your total purchase in your Shopping Cart before completing the checkout. For a quick estimate, simply enter your postal code.

Bulk Orders: For orders outside Gauteng, especially large volumes (such as a full pallet of the same type of door), we use reliable third-party transporters. Pricing for these deliveries is determined on a case-by-case basis, depending on the number of pallets and delivery location.

Gauteng Deliveries: For deliveries within Gauteng, orders of one or more full pallets are eligible for free delivery.

Where Do You Deliver To?

We deliver to all cities and most towns within South Africa. Our delivery options range from single doors to full truckloads, ensuring we can accommodate orders of any size across the country.

Delivery Restrictions

Restricted Areas: While we strive to deliver to all areas within South Africa, there may be some remote or restricted locations where delivery is not available. If you’re unsure about your location, please reach out to us for confirmation.

When Will My Order Be Delivered?

Each product has an indicated lead time. Once dispatched, your order will typically arrive within 1 to 3 business days. For bulk orders and purpose made items, we will provide detailed delivery information and updates throughout the process. Deliveries are made on weekdays during normal business hours (8 AM – 5 PM), excluding public holidays.

Who Will Deliver My Order?

We partner with trusted, contracted third-party couriers and transporters who have a comprehensive national delivery network.

How Will I Know When My Order Is On Its Way?

You will receive an email from our distribution office with tracking details as soon as your order is dispatched. You can use this tracking number to monitor your shipment directly with the courier or contact our distribution office for updates.

Real-Time Tracking

Our system allows you to track your order in real time using the provided tracking number, ensuring full visibility from dispatch to delivery.

Delivery Notifications

You will receive an SMS notification on the day of delivery. While we do not specify a delivery time, we ask that someone is available to receive the delivery during that day. If delivery cannot be completed because no one is available to accept the order, the customer will be held liable for any additional charges incurred due to failed delivery attempts.

What to Check Upon Arrival

While we strive to ensure that your products arrive in perfect condition, occasional damage during shipping can occur. Upon delivery, please:

Inspect the Shipment: Cross-check the items received against the waybill. Ensure that the quantities match the delivery note and inspect the packaging for any visible damage.

Document Any Concerns: If there are any issues, take detailed photographs and send them to your sales consultant or email us at info@doorsonline.co.za.

Handling Delivery Issues

Report Issues Promptly: If you notice any discrepancies or visible damage, make a note on the waybill and report the issue to us within 48 hours. Failure to report within this timeframe may void any claims.

Missing Items: If any items are missing from your delivery, please notify us within 48 hours, and we will investigate and resolve the issue promptly.

Damaged Items: For any damaged items, please send us photographs along with your claim to help expedite the resolution process.
